have chosen try something different this summer: i’m gonna let my urge to explore be the primary guide vs. the urge to produce / grind / hustle / struggle. my default mode is to deliver and i’ve been curious what it feels like just to absorb.

so, i just granted all of my active hypersub subscribers four free months to cover the gap (june, july, aug, sept).

i’m taking the summer to create without an end goal, without any deliveries. i assume i’ll also continue to be online less.

not sure why this idea of taking some slow time feels like such a novel concept to me. what a weirdo. going well so far, finally feeling the desire to create again after about a month of not. this ever happen to you trupty?

so true. i often do this with something like socials, but rarely have needed to with art. i usually pivot into some different medium for a refresh and don’t blink. this time has been different though, definitely a full step away kinda time. it’s refreshing.

so many times :) i think the “step away for a while to step closer” is a solution to a lot of things
