Tracking my soul album this GM.
Somehow it seems like a milestone in a still ongoing story: my biological pops is/was a soul singer—and without meaning to, here I am producing in the genre. (In the past, my music has been alt rap electronic jazz and rock.)
Maybe I hadn’t lived enough to drift this way. But today it’s on the menu.
Excited to perform it this fall.
