Optimists like Elon Musk (who’s got a vested interest via xAI) hint it could be within a decade, maybe by 2035. Skeptics say it’s 50+ years off, or even impossible with current paradigms. The truth? No one knows. We’re still piecing together the puzzle of human cognition, let alone replicating it.
