Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed the Bitcoin reserve bill SB 21 into law. Now Texas is the third state with a Bitcoin reserve. The bill got bipartisan support and creates a state-managed fund. It only invests in cryptos with a $500B+ average market cap over 12 months. A Bitcoin reserve advisory committee will guide the fund. Holdings must be reported every two years.
