But those systems are designed to be complex on purpose, like how politics are always about process, not results

I don’t think necessarily so. If you do not actively fight against complexity the default result is increasing complexity forever

What i find difficult is, being active means you need a good amount of resources and influence to be able to fight the complexity, while in the complexity itself
