You could say the same thing for text-based content we've been working with for the last 4.5 years. Video content is more compelling for a lot of people. Mini apps are great for retention, but, for the most part, don't drive top of funnel growth.

If we had deep link invites to mini apps, I think they could definitely drive TOF growth. It's technically not possible for mini apps to increase growth yet

You can’t add a flag or metadata or something to an invite that would replace text in the onboarding flow? Possible it’s too complicated to be worth it, but seems likely some kind of workaround would be possible

It doesn't pass to the app from the app store. That's why you have some apps try to immediately try to get you to paste something (which is jarring to a new user).

That makes sense. But invite codes already require being pasted so couldn’t mini app specific invite codes bring in the metadata after the farcaster app is downloaded? Could also have a drop down or search for mini apps during onboarding. I know this breaks up the flow but all these things can have defaults to prevent that.
