a couple days ago, a talented AI animator approached me and said they loved what @betrmint was doing, loved the retro neon aesthetic and were open to commissions if we ever wanted to jam. I replied that unfortunately, the mini app is pretty bootstrapped for now and @netnose and I are handling everything in-house. But then I had an idea: What if they created a short animation for us and minted it on @base, and we could feature it in an upcoming round and give him 100% of the proceeds. He agreed to give it a try, so we gave him an advance and now he’s cooking. 🔥 New primitives, new possibilities.

Notice how we didn’t ask them to do it for free “for the exposure” because recent studies from Bank of America have found that creators cannot pay their mortgages in exposure.
