I love whenever someone shares this, always hits home. I read a lot of vonnegut as a young teenager and I remember being absolutely floored when a teacher (too generously, in retrospect) compared my writing to his. he has such an uncommon mixture of razor sharp wit and warmth, always admired him greatly as a writer (of course) but also as a person.
