it is no accident that peaceful and safe public space, public transport, etc. have largely been achieved in monocultures

I do think we’ll reach that eventuality in all types of environments it just requires a lot more coordination and effort from top down and a lot more focus on personal growth bottom up

It’s easier to push empathy to those who look and function like you

That type of thinking of “what for others what you want for yourself” is harder to come by in blended spaces especially considering how they became blended in the first place 

The vestiges of those conflicts still persist despite the world “moving on” from a lot of them. (In many cases they still exist quite loudly)

Singapore has similar, but is not monoculture. While it helps, it is not a necessity.

it’s incredibly honestly. city of the future and it almost has nothing to do with the tech.
