How you like that basket??  I’m leaning towards a VST but hear good things about the Uni

I quite like them but they're very different than even VST or Pullman baskets. you need to adjust your grind significantly, from memory they pull way faster compared to pretty much anything else. and they have a unique raindrop pattern that can be a bit messy with sub-par distribution technique.

would 100% recommend starting with 20g to see what you think, the 24g and 28g baskets are quite unwieldy if your technique isn't perfect. I am using the 28g at present but that's purely for a bit of extra headroom and to challenge myself, otherwise I consider it very impractical.

I’ve heard good things about Profitec, I definitely considered going that route. one thing to note is that Profitec models 500 and lower use vibratory pumps, which are very loud compared to rotary pumps. this was a very noticeable change for me, my Silvia was super loud.

I am a fan of the Unibaskets. back in the day I went from stock to VST to Pullman and then later to Unibasket. started with 20g then 24g and 28g. a few thoughts on them here:
