The way to win against apple is to commoditize the hardware by sucking up all of what makes the iPhone *your* iPhone—reminders, calendars, notes, contacts, etc. Everything except the apps. Make your source of truth chatGPT. And make it accessible via another device (micro mac). then eventually swap out the phone.

I think normal people care about: 1. Messaging 2. Photos + camera 3. Apps with their friends 4. Everything else The first three belong to Apple, Google and Meta.
