Hey everyone, time to share some Eventcaster updates! Going to give a TLDR and then get into more details in this thread. Today @event is getting:

So about that site...

EC is the place to discover events posted to FC. But often, users share event links without remembering to tag @event. EC can't be the "source of truth" if a lot of events are missing.

So, we now include all Partiful and Luma links posted to FC. Here's an example: https://i.imgur.com/3SQ8Jv1.jpg

To access that, you'll need to sign in with your farcaster wallet at https://eventcaster.xyz/calendar.

If you need help adding the calendar link, don't hesitate to DC me... we're going to add some instructions to make that easier soon.

Next, dealing with calendar invites is a pain. And if you're RSVPing from FC, the last thing you want to have to do is leave your feed and download a calendar invite.

So now, each EC user gets a calendar subscription link, which automatically adds events you RSVP to or hit "remind" on to your calendar app of choice.

What if multiple people share the same event? 

EC creates a single event page and adds any shares, recasts, replies, and RSVPs to it.
