Using OpenAI over Claude is now a tell that you’re mid at ai

for coding specifically. claude code rn is the best ai engineering tool. anthropic has successfully carved out a niche and will be the one to capture the most value, since they make the best models for coding.

While the model is not the product, it increasingly seems that whoever controls the models has an advantage in product because they are the closest to the research specifically.

Both OpenAI and Anthropic know this, meta too except it's playing catchup

would still default to using the chatgpt apps for daily research... claude code is not replacing google for me, that's chatgpt.

But there is definitely a world where I pay for both and that's great.
