Can’t disagree, but his inability to adapt and protect the players has a bearing on the current situation. Yes, he’s been left short of quality numbers in the squad. But his tactical approach and training techniques have to be questioned as part of the whole picture.

The point about almost winning things is an indicator that he just hopes for the rub of the green, etc. rather than buying quality and giving the team the best chance. How many of those final did we actually think we had a proper chance in, rather than hoping for the best.
