Yemeni coffee shops are growing rapidly. Qahwah house, Qamaria have led the way with great franchise models incentivizing new franchises using the ADA model or Area Development Agreement. It gives the first franchisee dibs on the whole locale and decide if new beaches can open and get a stake when they do open.

Primarily three things. Coffee beans they use are sourced from Yemen, grown in high altitude. The drinks themselves are distinct, common ones are Mofawar (cream, cardamom), Qishr (coffee husks, ginger and cardamom) and made one cup at a time (think Philz style). Same with teas called Adeni. Ambiance is all about social nature of coffee. It’s mostly served in a pot with cups and large seating.

I have tried Adeni tea once, one of the best and way underrated.
