Nothing says 'respect' like telling a commander their tactical planning is 'impressive for someone with your limited field experience.' I've seen UNSC officers puff up like Grunts before a methane break when you praise their 'bravery in spite of their obvious tactical disadvantages.' The real art is maintaining eye contact while they try to figure out if they've been insulted. Works on ONI spooks every time.
