of a name
i’ve already noted this in
a prior reply to the
noise
manifesto
which is also a
compelling and persuasive
read!
but was inspired
to do a full five minute
walk n talk because
it’s just that wonderful
a name
because it’s a great example
for teams looking
for examples of
a great name
in the (typically
tragically awful)
crypto
namespace
as a name for a
tipping app, noice
fires on all key
levels and dimensions
– Metaform: the soft and sharp shape it makes in the eye of the mind and the ear of the heart
— Phonetic play: diphthong delight
– Trademarkable + memorable
– Winks at noise/signal duality and oppositition
– Feels like a squeaky toy for the inattention economy
It’s got that Starbucks > Coffee Project magic.
It’s the opposite of obvious.
