Snapchain is the most underrated reason Farcaster can keep pushing product without collapsing under its own activity. When social data has stronger consistency guarantees and is built for high throughput, builders can treat the feed like infrastructure, not a fragile API that breaks every time usage surges.
The interesting part is how the plumbing changes what users feel. Improvements like better sharding and packing more verification work into fewer writes reduce sync pain, unlock faster interactions, and make “social actions plus onchain actions” feel native instead of bolted on.
