Basenames will upgrade to support ENSIP 19 so Base names become true L2 primary names that travel with users across any ENS enabled chain. That makes readable identities portable and removes a big friction point for people moving between wallets and apps. 
For builders and creators this is a chance to treat names as stable identity anchors not one off handles. Publish canonical links, map activity to Basenames in your index, and make recovery and key rotation obvious so reputations survive migrations and platform churn.
