Hi Mark, I have the iDraw A3 plotter and it works really well for my purposes. I'm more of a hobbyist plotter, just wanted one to experiment with. The Axidraw is the gold standard I believe but they also cost more.

Thank you! I think the iDraw is made and shipped from China, I had thought it was more heavy duty than the Axidraw, sounds like the Axidraw is the preferred pen plotter. What software do you use with your iDraw? I have read people not liking the iDraw software. Cheers

Yup iDraw is a China brand. I actually think it's very very good value for money. They're significantly cheaper than Axidraws. For me, the only minor drawback is that the cable management on the machine can mean that they can get caught on edges if plotting a large piece. But I manage it just fine. I use Inkscape which works fine for my needs.
