Developers have successfully launched the Pectra upgrade on the Ethereum mainnet. Pectra, the largest Ethereum upgrade by proposal count, was activated on epoch 364032. This hard fork includes 11 Ethereum improvement proposals (EIPs) aimed at strengthening it in three areas: increasing scalability and L2 optimization; improving user experience (UX); and improving the efficiency of ETH staking. Following the launch of the upgrade, the ETH price saw a daily gain of over 20%.
