12 years ago sober from drugs and alcohol today 🙏

There are 3 moments that have changed the course of my life:

1. My parents making the ultimate sacrifice to stop supporting me in my addiction and let me go

2. Early in my sobriety (a few months), a man with 10 years sober told me that when we get sober, we GET TO go live a big, badass life

3. My dying grandfather who told me how proud he was of me when I told him my crazy idea of making a living on the internet

If i hadn’t taken all 3 of these moments seriously, I wouldn’t be writing this tweet
