Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has unveiled the "Glacier Drop" airdrop for the Midnight privacy-focused sidechain, which will distribute NIGHT and DUST tokens to 37 million users across eight major blockchains, explicitly excluding venture capital participants. He also introduced a "collaborative economics" approach for the project. The Midnight mainnet is expected to go live by the end of 2025.
