It’s really shitty that you can’t create an advanced directive that says, “If I get dementia or lose all cognitive function, I would like to end my life.” Seeing my dad go from smart, strong, & independent to confused, weak, & unable to care for himself is fucked. We should let people go out with dignity, not in diapers.
