It’s sad how some leaders in the web3 space talk so much about decentralization but then choose to ban people from certain country.

What a charade! 

If you are a founder really think how we can build more human centric protocols and not empire’s centric protocols.

We’re still using frontends that can block and track people. We aren’t yet really creating on top of a resilient decentralized permissionless infrastructure.

This isn’t the open future that has been promised and we need more builders that can actually realize that vision and omit imaginary lines of division.

Unfortunately think this is more on legal council non-starters than on founders. 

I think every crypto founder wants to airdrop to all countries but lawyers make it abundantly clear if you drop to X country (like US for me) you will go to jail 

(Which won’t actually happen in 99% of cases but that fear exists)

Leaders of certain countries are forcing many web3 leaders to make difficult and unenviable choices.  It’s a tenuous position to encourage web3 leaders to make implementation decisions that could land them and their teams in prison.

I’d rather advocate for clear and fair legislation.
