I’m ~4 hours from the closest major city and couldn’t be more thankful 

My son gets to grow up in nature, in a small town where everywhere we go people know us and we know them

I have a very strong thesis on rural/semi-rural property right now tbh

I haven’t acted on it yet but fully intend to buy my first home in the next 12 months and it will be on this premise

Think I would have trouble living that rural, in-laws live 2 hrs from airport. Wife gets bored when we visit. But I would love a second home a bit more remote than my city dwelling.
