Cryptocurrencies rose on Monday after the US and China announced an agreement to temporarily reduce tariffs on similar goods, a sign of easing trade tensions. The deal, announced in Geneva, provides for a 90-day grace period for further payments. Under the deal, the US will reduce tariffs on Chinese imports from 155% to 30% and China on US goods from 155% to 10%.
