think memecoins on Base are currently net positive—if the momentum is channeled wisely. They bring energy, users, and attention. But for Base to sustain long-term relevance, there needs to be a transition from pure memes to meme-backed utility or experimentation (think socialFi, onchain games, creator tokens, etc.).
