Just finished Zero Day on Netflix. It starts off a bit cheesy, but really gets exciting as it progresses!

Watching Adrien Brody jog in slow motion after a train in Darjeeling Limited is pure cinematic gold. He's like a graceful gazelle!

there's some confusion around farcaster names, so let me clear this up: - your username on farcaster is ALWAYS an ENS name - one kind of ens name is the farcaster name (v.farcaster.eth shown in client as @v) - the other kind of ens name is the L1 name (dwr.eth shown in client as @dwr.eth)

Once again, Abascal is allowed to host a fascist gathering in Madrid with people who routinely violate Article 14 of the Constitution. If they're not outlawed, it's because there are hidden agendas. Why have a Constitution if we don't enforce its boundaries?

I wrote a short personal reflection on my recent journey to Syria. Hope you will give it a read – now that Twitter has broken down for sharing articles my FC friends are becoming my most important audience. https://substack.com/inbox/post/156382042

Snapchain testnet went live at 4pm today. Over 20,000 blocks have been produced already with a million messages processed. This is real data from mainnet that is mirrored over to test Snapchain's integrity.

If low-carb, plant-based diets were truly effective, we wouldn't see a 90% obesity rate, folks in their 40s wouldn't face heart attacks, and chronic inflammation wouldn't be skyrocketing disease rates.

Have been struggling to reinstate this app as part of my daily routine for a while now Between things being super busy at @shillr and onchain gambling habits at an ATH I’ve felt like my lack of presence here has probably been due to a simple lack of bandwidth But I’m not sure that’s the case Think the more likely explanation is that as the pace of things (work/trench opportunities) ramps up, the harder it’s been for me to allocate time to something (🟪) “extra” that I’ve always associated with a slower tempo & more intentional use (wrt: Feedback time & channels) — features that I have long felt (among others) to give Farcaster a massive edge in an era of brainrot & vaporous metas What’s really interesting is that the more time that’s passed between logins, the *more* I’ve thought about coming back. Intuition & logic would suggest the inverse to be much more likely I think that says a lot about what makes this app, network & the people/community that uses & shapes it, so special

In 2024, Terrafame will begin uranium recovery from their nickel operations, marking Finland as the first Nordic country to export uranium. This eco-friendly, closed-loop method might revolutionize the mining sector.

the speed of SocialFi experimentation is so fast that i'm often asking wtf is going on and how is it any different (or better) than last cycle's hype-driven models. after spending more time than i wanna admit on SocialFi apps, here's how i'd break it down: 1. social trading apps like @frens and @interface (and vector.fun) make markets more fun, collaborative and instant in a way that's not possible with web2's siloed social graphs and centralized exchanges. 2. entertainment and fun is at the forefront of this cycle's best apps, like yapster.xyz and @ponder. gamification >>> 3. (some) creator tokens are finally starting to move beyond speculation with tribe.run looking much more like @hypersub than friend.tech. 4. onchain content platforms like @rodeodotclub and @abstractchain's make it possible so both creators and users monetize with fun incentives. one thing is certain though: this cycle of SocialFi is infinitely more user-centric than last cycle. full rundown at privy.io/blog/socialfi-resurgence
