Farcaster Pro update A) The limited edition NFT will be airdropped early next week to the first 10,000 pro subscribers. It will appear in your in-app Farcaster wallet. You will be able to send it to another wallet. B) We have 3 Pro subscriber benefits that will likely ship the week of June 16th: 1. 10K character casts 2. 4 embeds — originally it was going to be 4 images but we've expanded it to 4 embeds including images, videos, URLs, CAs and mini apps. 3. A new, previously announced feature: profile banner images C) We'll have FIPs up later today for the proposed protocol implementations. D) We're finalizing the Pro subscription contract on Base. It will accept USDC and allow for monthly or yearly subscriptions permissionlessly at the protocol, i.e. any app can allow Pro subscriptions. There will be some clean up work to do in the Farcaster app to reflect monthly subscriptions. We don't have immediately plans to offer UX for monthly in-app but people will be able to build mini apps that do this.

Farcaster Pro latest update 1. 5,537 subscriptions sold so far 2. Things are slowing a bit, but seems plausible we sell out all 10K in the first 24 hours 3. Note: if you're subscribing as we get close to 10,000, expect the payment to fail. We're shipping a better "sold out" UX, but for now it may hard fail. 4. The best advice is to be sure to update your app from the app store, restart 1-2x before purchasing -- that should make it more likely you will have the new "sold out" UX -- will be super clear if NFT is still available (i.e. listed as a benefit) vs. not (it will literally say sold out) Casting this now since decent chance the 10,000 subscription will sell out nighttime Pacific time and I'll be sleeping.

Final reminder on Farcaster Pro 1. Launch is after 1pm Pacific today. Exact time TBD. May be up to 60 minutes later. 2. In-app notification (will be staggered, not everyone receives at the same time) and a banner on your profile. One subscription per FID. 3. Mobile app only. Web will not work. You cannot register outside the mobile app. You must have an FID. 4. Pay with $120 in USDC in your in-app wallet. Or 12,000 warps. One or the other. No combinations. No refunds. 5. Do not subscribe if you aren't excited about it. It's optional. No benefit to reach, visibility or rewards. 6. 10,000 NFTs. All the same. No other benefit. On Base. A small change for NFT nerds: we're still evaluating if 721 or 1155. If you're not happy about this, don't subscribe.
