Visited the Pletzl, Paris’ Jewish quarter, today. I try to visit Jewish neighborhoods whenever I travel now, even if I sometimes find unwelcome graffiti and other antisemitism. This is the Pletzl’s Holocaust memorial, right outside a beautiful secluded park. There are also Jewish delis and bakeries.

When I was in Rome with my family we spent a day touring the Jewish Ghetto. Learned so much.

I didn’t take a formal tour, that sounds really informative. I did eat fried artichoke.
