Hey everyone, Happy World Blood Donor Day! ❤️🩸

Today we celebrate the quiet heroes among us, those who give a part of themselves so others can have another chance at life. Blood donors don’t just give blood they give hope, healing and more time with loved ones. And for that, we are endlessly grateful.
It’s especially heartwarming to see how thoughtful and compassionate people can be right here in my school, medical students go above and beyond by setting aside days, choosing a location and organizing blood drives. They rally students, who show up not for praise or recognition, but simply because they care. 
Out of kindness, they donate. 
Out of love, they give.
You may never meet the person whose life your blood saves, but that one act can change their world forever.
So to every donor thank you. You are seen and celebrated. And if you’re eligible, please consider becoming a donor too. It takes just a moment, but the impact is lifelong.
