Why do our elders love gaslighting us like it’s part of their retirement plan? So I went to the market earlier today to get some food stuff,don’t even get me started on the prices. Everything is now expensive, smaller in size, and overpriced. Na wa. I stopped by one Iye’s stand to check out some pepper. Looked at it for a bit because… it was looking micro-sized for the price she was calling. After thinking it through, I told her politely that I wasn’t going to buy. Next thing, my lady started shouting “Do you know how old I am?” “Why would you come to my shop and not buy anything?” I said, Ah Iye, I’m really sorry o, I just feel it’s too small. But she kept going on like I committed a market crime. I quietly left her there with her pepper. This economy is hard on all of us, but abeg… shouting shouldn’t be part of the sales pitch

Babe I went out to get beef this afternoon to make stew I went to this guy's stand and he was about to cut a dried 14-year-old in the fridge meat for me. I politely told him, Sorry I am not buying cos it doesn't look fresh to me. He said Na God go punish me. I just left peacefully, I hope he meets his match sha. Older people dey rude pass Gen Z sha
