The task shown in the screenshot was originally intended to be a 3-day task. However, it was created during an ongoing system upgrade, and an unexpected error caused it to be deployed on-chain as a 24-hour task.
We were able to recover the task by working closely with the creator, but the shortened duration led to further issues. While we were updating the reward allocation logic to make distributions fairer, the task unexpectedly ended. As a result, 6 users received the majority of the rewards, while 246 others received little to almost nothing. The highest reward in this case was $5.
We take full responsibility for what happened. To make things right, we’ve launched a new task with a reward pool equivalent to Round 1 of the affected task. The update released today fixes the underlying issues to ensure this does not happen again.
