I created a 3-day boost task for this post by @dish
The task ran in two 36-hour rounds, and each user could participate only once per task (across both rounds).
After 3 days, the result was 454 participants.
That translates to hundreds of real likes and recasts from real users.
Why are these participants real?

The reason the number of participants doesn’t match the number of likes and recasts is that Farcaster doesn’t show the real counts for likes and recasts on a cast. This is due to spam labels on some of the accounts that interacted with it

Participation in the airdrop requires real economic commitment.
To be eligible in any given month, a user must:
• Lock at least $20 worth of the project token
• Maintain the lock until the monthly snapshot
• Perform at least one real in-app action
No lock → no eligibility
No activity → no allocation

We are designing a new airdrop system based on recording and analyzing real user participation.
Within this system, activities are tracked through a Point to Earn model, where user actions accumulate points. These points are periodically snapshotted, and rewards are distributed through a claim-based mechanism.

Today we’re rolling out a new generation of FasterTasks, built from the ground up to handle scale, safety, and real user behavior on Farcaster.
This update isn’t a cosmetic change. It’s a structural upgrade to how tasks are created, verified, and rewarded...

The task shown in the screenshot was originally intended to be a 3-day task. However, it was created during an ongoing system upgrade, and an unexpected error caused it to be deployed on-chain as a 24-hour task.
We were able to recover the task by working closely with the creator, but the shortened duration led to fur...

Some of you reached out in DMs with questions and concerns about in-app transactions, especially why certain actions require a transaction confirmation. We want to explain this clearly and transparently.
The FasterTasks contract is designed so that critical actions are handled fully on-chain. When you verify a task or...

The 3-day Boost task that’s ending soon has already attracted 442 participants… and this is only in the first few days after launch.
For a completely new mini app, that level of engagement says a lot. It shows how smooth and user-friendly FasterTasks is for both earners and creators.
You might notice that the reward y...
