Now You See Me: Now You Don’t’s greatest trick is convincing you there’s a plot while distracting you with a steady stream of over-the-top set pieces. In my estimation, it’s a superficial film that’s all flash with very little up its sleeve. But NYSMNYD (necessary abbreviation) has pulled a rabbit out of a hat by conjuring solid box office while the other movies at the multiplex make any hope of turning a profit disappear.
