I’m ambivalent wrt base and Jesse but I don’t think he’s malicious or incompetent. he’s clearly very passionate about base and wants to see it succeed. ambition can lead you to do stupid things but it doesn’t define your character. looks more like a misstep, which happens to humans under pressure. people need to get over it, imo.

Nice. A good approach is to always keep moving to new opportunities. Effectiveness falls off quickly when you stick to one thing. Sometimes a campaign pans out, sometimes it doesn’t. Put time and money into things until they diminish in returns then pivot to the next new thing. Advertising is about movement.

Some things I'm trying to do to improve my writing: - not using words/phrases like "very", "so X", "quite" etc. - considering each word as a moment of someone's time - using shorter sentences - not using filler phrases like "most of the time" or "and because of that", "in terms of", "not to mention"
