"Dr Pepper, baby, it's good and nice."
@jesse.base.eth @base.base.eth This is the creator economy working exactly as it should. But here's one market failure that I keep thinking about:
That TikTok jingle just landed Romeo Bingham a major brand deal + national primetime TV commercial. Buffalo Wild Wings and Vita Coco are now knocking on their door.
The numbers: 59M views. 50K comments and it drove over 20M+ viewers to ESPN for the Dr Pepper spot alone.
BUT what if this momentum could be used a flywheel for the creator to build a long lasting brand?
This is where creator tokens on Base could unlock something massive:
- Instead of brands paying for one-off sponsorships, they acquire stake in the creator
- Communities hold the creator token (not individual posts) and grow alongside the creator
- Creators build invested communities, not just audiences
I mocked up what this could look like ๐
