What does Farcaster look like in the near term?

At some point this summer:

1. Coinbase Wallet will have a Farcaster-powered feed in their mobile app with millions of existing users. This will be the most significant increase to practical decentralization of the protocol since the beginning.

2. Our app will be called Farcaster. Easy to explain to the average person—"download Farcaster in the App Store".

3. Sign ups for most people will be free. Link your X / Twitter account and no payment required.

4. Wallet will be available on web. And thanks to auth addresses, no more "please open your phone to continue using this mini app".

5. Wallet and mini apps will expand their support to multiple chains. If there's an interesting app in crypto, the goal will be to have it play nicely with Farcaster.

6. We're going to continue scaling our weekly reward programs: iterating on casting and building mini apps, but we're also working on a new version of the invite program that rewards referrals AND retention.

2) If you're already registered, there's nothing more you need to do to be eligible to earn. Some users, like @tldr, have already earned hundreds of dollars by simply registering their profile and setting their recast price. 

3) If you're not registered, you can do so by visiting the miniapp. This will give people you follow the ability to buy likes and recasts from you for a fee. 

4) Our priority with this rollout is to expand the number of buyers and help our registered signers earn more.

every time i open up warpcast, every cast is either referencing some new "iykyk" meta, or about crypto

and as someone who isnt as interested in crypto as i used to be, i use fc less, because fc casts are very crypto/meta heavy, and if you dont know the meta, you're out of the loop
