tbh current farcaster numbers are NOT a success. It's chugging along and slowly growing, but doesnt at all justify the 1b+ valuation

i disagree from an infra perspective fc has a clear competitive advantage over other up and coming social networks + has an extremely high quality user base current growth doesnt justify valuation but i think some of the other factors begin to

> over other up and coming social network key term here. Social Networks have natural moat effects. I dont see X losing out to FC or any other network anytime soon

to win big? yeah! They compete in mindshare. Certainly for me. I'd love to use Farcaster, but X is where everyone is. So i spend 95%+ of my time on X and only crosspost here. Farcaster does have miniapps etc and thats cute. But Twitter can copy semi-easily (having users >>> having tech). I dont see any fundamental advantage of Farcaster. Remember, X has 600 MILLION monthly active users. Farcaster is like 20k. X valuation 10-20b, Farcaster 1b. Doesn't make much sense to me
