Let’s put politics aside and look at this purely from a military point of view. If it’s true that the air defenses around Tehran were taken out and done so quickly that’s a very impressive operation. Iran isn’t a weak country, and its capital is heavily protected, so pulling this off would take serious planning, coordination, and advanced technology. What’s especially interesting is how Putin might see all this. He’s likely paying close attention. Keep in mind, the West is still giving Ukraine weapons in limited amounts and not always the most modern ones. But if that changes, and Ukraine starts getting more advanced systems in larger numbers, things could shift very quickly. And how does Putin really view the chances of a wider military clash with NATO. It would be suicide for him.

Didn’t Israel take out lots of Iranian air defences a few months ago

Honestly, I don’t really remember. I don’t think it was ever this big before. Looks like Israeli planes are flying over Tehran without much trouble. I’m really curious what the military will say about the F-35. I think it’s actually really good.
