I've read Nabokov's Lolita yesterday, and: 1. i enjoyed his writing style (he self-translated into Russian; but now i also want to try more of his works in English) 2. it's so ridiculous when ppl post quotes from it, taking them out of context, or say it's a book about “tragic love” 3. it's a good work, but also i can't imagine an instance at which i'd recommend it to someone

i had no idea Nabokov wrote other books. Lolita was disturbing enough. lol. you're right. a lot of people have no idea about the "love" story. 😭
