I like when I become consciously aware that I’m pushing far past my skill level or understanding, then make the decision to look back at an earlier point of clearer understanding, then restart from there.
It initially feels like taking a step back (because it literally is) but it’s a step further/faster than if I would have just gone step-by-step.
