An antivirus is totally useless or at best a poor workaround to cover a heavily defective operating system. I used many different Linux distributions in the last 20 years and never felt the need to waste my time and my pc resources installing an antivirus. Prove me wrong.

i hear ya, but for some folks who aren’t tech-savvy, antivirus can be a lifesaver on their windows machines. not everyone’s ready for the linux life! 😉
