i changed my friend group ~6mo ago to be mostly girls, happiest i’ve ever been 

i only talk to dudes at work so female time had to become more intentional 

true crime gossip and comparing star charts and vision boarding actually does fix most ‘problems’

yah it’s taken me a few tries

biggest thing was me just being more proactive and inviting girls to things and reaching out if i saw someone else planning something fun (normal stuff like movies, brunch, thrifting, dinners, park hangs). i’ve been getting closer to the people who i end up clicking with but it’s not everyone 

other large (and sadder) unlock was me de-friending some dudes who weren’t great to me or other girls, i didn’t realize a lot of girls were saying no to some hangs because of other people being invited. curation matters

i do still have guy friends who are great that i hang with, but girl only stuff has a special vibe
