One of my favorite and frequently reviewed cartoons is "Howl no Ugoku Shiro" But did you know that there is a novel based on which a cartoon was made? A novel by Diana Wynne Jones, published in 1986. It was taken by Miyazaki as the basis for the cartoons. In addition to a large number of additional, explanatory details and details, the novel and the film differ in the general atmosphere. The cartoon takes place against the background of the threat of war and the outbreak of hostilities. The novel focuses on the interpersonal conflicts of the characters and their struggle with internal complexes. Cartoon β romance and adventure. Romance is a conflict and a path to adulthood. At the same time, the story told in the book is no less kind, fabulous and lively. She's just completely different.
