Storage medium used with an Atari 800XL a little over 40 years ago. P.S. From the rewrites of the names and read locations, you can guess how laborious it was to manage file saving.

That’s when I started programming. You have no idea the constant trail and error of saving and loading.

The loading times were then so long that some tapes included a music track on one of the two audio channels. I remember often hearing the first twenty minutes of Vivaldi's The Four Seasons during the loading of, I think, SpeedCalc.

I have memories of a 20 min load time for CRUSH CRUMBLE CHOMP and a misload due to the tape not being queued right was painful. But it was cutting edge gaming and fun.
