Track Back - Part 1
I saw my own footprint
heading back up the track.
I felt my own instincts
tap me on the back.
Take your own medicine.
Find your way back.
Find your way back from—
it’s too much, not enough,
and all that such and stuff—
to the mind that is always worrying,
splitting focus,
reweaving thought,
splinted, fragmenting pathways-
It’s okay.
Some of us are meant
to live in no-time,
following in and out,
conjuring and reweaving
the net, that captures
some space in some time
It’s a life force.
It’s a pain sometimes,
in madness, sickness—
but often brilliant.
In a tree - visionary
You walk your own path.
But you need not know isolation—
for they are walking too:
beneath,
around,
in front,
alongside you,
with us.
And so are the unborn,
those yet to take shape from our form. They too guide us.
They too dance with us
over mind
and uplift us.
We can get back online with them
a matter of training,
practice,
opening to our field,
which is a great field—
