Still going strong (roughly 2 1/2 months) with the no processed sugar, but the wife made me this homemade ice cream which is just heavy cream, a couple drops of vanilla, blackberries and strawberries. Shake it up, freeze it, boom, no (processed) sugar ice cream! 🍨

Wowwww that sounds so good!! 2.5 months no processed sugar is impressive. How does it feel? Noticeable difference? I would think so…

Definitely! Feels really good tbh, I get the odd craving but none that I can’t fend off pretty easily. I’ll have a treat eventually, but not yet!

Haha once you’re 2.5m in I’d say you’re a free man. One treat is nothing, but I suppose it’s a very slippery slope. You got it in control though Does bread and pasta count as processed sugar? How far down does the rabbit hole go? 🐰

True that, I'm well past the point of struggling now lol. Umm, I'm mostly avoiding any white breads and pastas, but I've had some sourdough breads and rice. That's about the extent of the rabbit hole, my last bloodwork (just over 2 1/2 months ago of course) came back with my blood-sugar at the lowest level of pre-diabetic, so I took that as a serious concern and stopped the sugar right after that. Gonna keep rolling with it for a while since it's not too hard lol, once I know I'm in the clear with my levels way back down, I'll reintroduce treats in moderation! 50 $degen
