We don't need more amplifying apps for bad content.  Spreading more shit around only works if you're fertilizing. 

We need better incentives to create better content. 

Bearish on -insert something-to-earn 

Bullish on content flywheels. 

Comment/like/reply-to-earn is too farmable and short-sighted. 

Content flywheels will be harder to create but will create more genuine opportunities and long-term sustainability.

what about reply-to-receive-a-reply-to-earn?

Immediate issue I see is spam / popular users getting inundated with low effort replies in hopes of receiving a reply

But over time, by replying to only thoughtful / quality / engaging replies, it encourages thoughtful conversation

It’s a tough code to crack, at least as far as socialFi goes. Farmers/extractors are always going to be on the attack. Trade off between decentralized/onchain protocols that farmers can dissect to exploit and walled garden, private protocols that can be abused by insiders.

Whoever figures it out will be both rich and admired

Farming happens because rules are understood. 

All we need to do is combat the ability to KNOW who will benefit from the desired outcome. 

We need to satisfy a number of entertaining scenarios and at the heart of it all... reward great content.
